How does the automatic Nobi night light work ?
- Nobi provides light, shining towards the floor and towards the ceiling.
- Automatic Night Light: if the resident lies down on the bed, Nobi first turns off the floor light and secondly the ceiling light (after 30 seconds). like in 2 stages.
- The nobi lamp is now completely turned off.
- When the resident sits on the bedside again, Nobi turns on the ceiling light.
- If the resident is comes out of his bed, Nobi turns on the floor light too = it’s now completely on.
How to activate the automatic night light ?
- Open the Nobi menu and click on “Housing units”.
- Use the “Edit” button at the back of the housing unit you want to activate the night light.
- Click in the housing unit on the 3 small bullets in the room where you want to activate the night light. (lower right corner)
- A menu is presented: click on “Edit Device”.
- Check the box "Automatic night light”.
- Use the “Save” button to safeguard the setting.
- If done correctly a pop-up is shown “Successfully updated".
- The automatic night light is now activated.
- This functionality overrules the one for automatic light on/off. As long as Nobi detects a person in bed, the light will not turn on when care staff comes in briefly to check on the resident.
