The Snooze Button is a wireless push button that gets paired to the lamp via Bluetooth. Due to its simple use, it is applied both reactively to close an ongoing escalation and proactively to set the lamp on a 15-minute snooze mode.
Reactive application
In the case of an active fall, a simple press on the button is sufficient to close the escalation. Simultaneously, the lamp enters a 15-minute snooze mode to prevent new, unnecessary escalations during the assistance
Proactief application
By preemptively pressing the Snooze Button, the lamp enters a 15-minute snooze mode, preventing unnecessary escalations
A common scenario is that the caregiver kneels down to assist a resident in putting on socks. In many cases, this posture may be misinterpreted as a fall by the lamp. This is where the proactive use of the Snooze Button proves invaluable in preventing unnecessary escalations.
Pairing the snooze button
- Click on Menu > Housing Units
- Click on related housing unit> Edit > Click on peripherals > Add
