When the lamp detects a fall, it inquires whether the resident has fallen.

  • In the event the resident responds with "no," no action is taken.
  •  In all other cases, the lamp says, "we will contact your family," and the escalation procedure will start

There are three levels at which the escalation can be configured, which are..

  • Site: this is the overarching level for configuring the escalation procedure. When you set the escalation at the organization level, the rules apply to all departments and all residential units.
  • Department: If you define the escalation at the department level, the escalation configured at the organization level is no longer valid for this department, but it remains valid for all residential units within this department.

  • Housing Unit: Any escalations configured at the department or organization level, if applicable, are no longer in valid.
