Reviewing images of a fall

Anne Heyrman Anne Heyrman

Sometimes you receive an escalation of a fall, which turns out to be unjustified.

This is called a false positive fall.

When it is a Nobi lamp in the living room or bedroom we advise you to review the images and try to find out what caused it.

If possible, based on the images, you can make small changes in the setup of furniture e.g. in the living- or bedroom.  This can avoid future  false interpretation of the same situations.

How to get to the images of a fall?

  • Click on "Escalations" in the left navigation bar - find the "fall" on the right hand sight and click on "show"

  • When it is a closed "fall", below click on "images"

  • You see an overview of images of the concerning fall (depending on the privacy settings of the resident in question)
    • Show nothing  --> there are no images to look into
    • Show abstract images  --> you see a stick man instead of the real person.
    • show images  --> you see the stick man projected on top of the real person who has fallen in the room.
  • When "show images" is activated, you have the choice how you want to see the images: click on the top of the screen "hide detected poses" .

  • Proceeding this way makes the abstract image of the resident disappear. This can help you to determine what made nobi detect it as fall .
