Why would we want to archive a Nobi lamp ?
We are going to archive a Nobi Lamp in the following cases:
- When we move a lamp between two different housing units.
- When we want to transfer a nobi lamp from a "Family" to an "Organization".
- When we are going to replace a defective lamp.
Please note that we always disconnect the lamp before we start archiving.
The lamp may no longer be connected to the electricity.
How do we proceed when replacing a defective Nobi lamp ?
Go to Related devices via the Nobi.cloud dashboard.
In that tab, go to Devices.
Here you will now get an overview of all the lamps that are in your organization.
To easily search for the lamp to be replaced, it is best to apply a filter at organization level.
You choose the right organization and then click on the filter button.
You will now get a list with only the lamps that belong to the relevant organization.
You are now looking for the right lamp by looking at the room where the lamp hangs, in this case "room 23".
In the Connected Message Queue table, this lamp should say No.
This means that the lamp is no longer connected to the cloud.
When the right lamp has been found, you can press the Archive button at the end of the line.
(lamp must but disconnected for a few minutes before hitting the archive button.)
The lamp is now archived and disappears from the list.
You will now also notice that this room will have disappeared from the app.
