What
The Bluetooth door lock is mounted on the inside of your existing door lock. You don’t need to replace your lock or drill holes. Based on your lock cylinder, you’ll either use a clamp or an adhesive mounting plate.
Why
The Bluetooth door lock helps residents enter and exit independently, while keeping their housing unit secure. A correct installation ensures the lock functions reliably, without damaging the existing cylinder. Choosing the right mounting option also ensures stability, especially with frequent use.
Detailed steps
First, check the overhang of your door cylinder on the inside.
If the cylinder extends at least 3 mm past the door surface: use the clamp-on mounting plate (Version A).
If the cylinder is flush or has less than 3 mm overhang: use the stick-on mounting plate (Version B).
