Learn how to assign a wearable call button to a resident.
2 min task
What
The wearable call button is a small, portable button. A resident can carry it or wear it on the body by putting it inside a wristband or pendant. When the resident presses the button, a call request is sent through the nearest Nobi light.
Why
Pairing the wearable call button allows residents to call for help from anywhere nearby a Nobi light.
Because the call can go through any Nobi light:
Residents can ask for help in shared spaces.
Residents can ask for help in another housing unit.
Residents can ask for help on behalf of someone else.
This reduces confusion during incidents.
It also improves safety for residents who move around the care home.
